What direction will we take?

After 11 years of the Coalition Government Budgets delivered in years of unprecedented economic growth for Australia, Wayne Swan is faced with delivering the first Budget for this Government in times of some economic uncertainty. Labor's promised razor gang has been at work and the Budget is their first major report.

The marriage of taxation with broader fiscal policy can be a difficult one. What new approaches will the Government adopt as a response to high than desired inflation and perceived economic stress? Will the ideas from the 2020 Summit assist?
